Recently, CITIC Environmental Technology successfully won the bid for the energy-saving renovation project of the power plant of China Petroleum (Kazakhstan) Aktobe Company. This project is the first time that CITIC Environmental Technology has entered the field of power plant energy-saving renovation, and it is also the second project undertaken by the company in Kazakhstan.
The content of this project includes the technical transformation of the power supply system for the water pumps and fans of the Aktobe project power plant, and the addition of a digital twin management system to improve the energy efficiency level of the power plant and help it achieve energy conservation and consumption reduction. In June of this year, CITIC Environmental Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Petroleum (Kazakhstan) Aktobe Company. This energy-saving renovation project is the first step of cooperation between the two sides and will further deepen their cooperation in the field of environmental protection and energy conservation.
China Petroleum (Kazakhstan) Aktobe Company is the first project of China Kazakhstan oil and gas cooperation. Since 2010, it has achieved the extraction of over 150 million tons of crude oil and maintained stable production for more than ten years.
CITIC Environmental Technology has been actively involved in the construction of the "the Belt and Road". Previously, it had successfully operated the produced water reuse project of KBM Oilfield in Kazakhstan. This project is not only the world's largest oilfield produced water treatment and reuse project, but also Kazakhstan's first water treatment project that relies entirely on foreign investment and technological construction, successfully solving the global problem of oilfield produced water reuse. In the future, CITIC Environmental Technology will leverage its technological advantages in the field of environmental protection and accumulated project experience in Kazakhstan to promote the implementation of more environmental protection projects and contribute CITIC's strength to the green and sustainable development of Kazakhstan's economy.
